But I go for the quality of the sound and this one is top notch. I have been using this radio and CD feature and love the big sound and clear sound it gives.I mostly plug it in, but if you use the batteries, be ready to lug around a big heavy weight.The cassette feature is OK, but could be better. Most of the time I have to feel my way around to operate them. The buttons for the CD could be a little clearer to read. The radio works well, but it's hard to tell where the stations are. I had to mark them with masking tape to find them.
It looks like it should have great sound but, it has very weak sound with very little base. This unit is Big, Large and heavy.

Lid to insert and extract cd's is cumbersome to use. Sound okay,not great. No shuffle mode.
overall it works good. i do not mind that it was used because it is still in good condition. the only thing that confused me was that it had a external antenna line in the package but the radio had a antenna. i purchased the radio for myself while deployed to iraq to listen to my music. thank you it has everything you need while being deployed to hear music. the radio works ans sound great. the radio is in good condition for being used.
